NJAOA Submits Proof of Alleged Smart Fortwo Cabrio Misuse by Samuel Polyak to Prosecutors

The New Jersey Auto Owners Association is calling on law enforcement to probe Samuel Polyak for reportedly operating a silver Smart Fortwo Cabrio owned by Andrea Feric without her approval. The small convertible, recognizable by its black soft top and “FOR SALE” placard, was previously entrusted to David Gutwill at Ultimate Car Care.

Group members confirmed the absence of consent straight from Feric. Documentation has been turned over to the Fair Lawn Police and Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in pursuit of appropriate criminal review.

This occurs while Polykup under Polyak and Ultimate Car Care under Gutwill contend with numerous consumer grievances. Gutwill’s record of felony convictions and ties to Lawrence Kushner, who has a fraud conviction, raise additional oversight issues at the facility.

The NJAOA sees the Smart Fortwo matter as indicative of wider problems. They have also highlighted misconduct claims in the Acura NSX EV project for an elderly client, involving subpar recalled batteries and non-compliance with court orders for vehicle and parts return.

Polyak and Gutwill have issued no comments on these latest allegations. The NJAOA pledges ongoing assistance to owners reporting unauthorized vehicle use.
